2012 London Olympic Stadium Design Concept.
The cost of the flower enclosure should be a shared cost by the country and the Olympic committee. The supper structure of the enclosure could be reused in the next olympic to save cost and help reduce the use of the natural materials.
The flower enclosure can be a light weight pipe structure with cable struts and fabric skin. It can be trans illuminated with the flower color to promote a light show for the opening and closing ceremonies.
Because of the flower enclosure, the country can reuse the stadium that they built previously or build a more economical stadium for the city that will absorb the stadium function after the Olympics. After the event, minimal amount of adjustments require to transform / adjust the Olympic stadium to a standard stadium to be used by the city. (strip out the flower portion of the stadium.)

Project: Utah Bus Stop design competition
Designer: Boni Studio Inc.
The future of the bus-stop begins with some simple facts. First, the bus has to stop at the right location to pick up the passengers. Second, the bus-stop has to support the line that the passengers form to aboard the bus. Third, make it obvious for everyone to exit to the rear of the bus. Training ourselves to be a better commuters will benefit us with better and reliable service.
This design starts with a name “BUS-STOP” signaling the bus drivers to stop at the right location. The right location is to align the bus door to the portal within the bus-stop. The dots on the floor indicate a place for people to line up. At night the bus-stop will also attract people with it’s glowing lights, providing information and a comfortable bench.
Some might argue that the OLED and interactive map is a expansive materials. I think any new technology at first is costly. However, as designers it is our responsibility to use new materials in a creative way to improve our way of life, visually and functionally.

The design components.
Roof
Solar panel ( Photovoltaic ) 30% clear glass opening for light penetration. It will generate electricity to run lights and display panels.
Solid wall
Metal box that holds the standard advertisement on the outside and interactive touch screen map at top and general information below ( w/ weather bus schedules and announcements ) with language options. This wall also act as directional portal wall.
Folded wall
Tri-fold OLED panel will provide a transparent enclosure for the people during the day and at night act as light panel for safety and digital advertisement for entertainment.
‘OLED’ is a thin clear plastic sheet that can act as a light source or a visual display like LCD without a sold back panel. It generates 75% less heat than the standard LED. Therefore, just right amount of heat for the people waiting for the bus at night. OLED : Organic light emitting diode.
Advantage:
